On Saturday, 26th Celest will be interviewed on Radio M94.5 at 7 p.m. by Dirk Wagner. Ollie Purcell and Nic Olsen (Son of Old) will be live on air to promote the charity concert for Amnestiy International (Oct 2nd, Glockenbachwerkstatt, Munich). For all that wrack one’s brains about the name of the band, here is the answer: The name ‘CELEST’ which was chosen years before metal bands, anti-baby pills and the like, originates from a fine single released in the early 90′s by English indie/shoegazing band ‘The Telescopes’.
