The Flea Market Poets will be showcasing material from their upcoming sophomore album in 59to1 Club on Sat May 8th 2010.

In keeping with the Irish connection, the second band performing on the night will be Munich based Celest fronted by Irish man Ollie Purcell. With sounds hailing from guitar rifts of melodious chords, rock solid percussion and catchy persistent songs, singing lyrics of joy and hate, Celest have built a large following both in Germany and Ireland in recent years, and will be kicking off another tour over the coming months with their much acclaimed second album release ‘Eyes to the floor, near to the door’.

Starting the show yet another Irish band and good friends of The Flea Market Poets, Identity Parade who are on a multi date tour of Germany at the time.

Doors open at 8pm.
